COMPANY OVERVIEW

ILAVIO is a new premium brand with products designed in Italy and manufactured in Greece by ILAVIO which has more than 50 years of consistent presence in the business. The idea was born in 2018 and was implemented with great success. The brand create a truly unique and bespoke pieces which will reflect your personality and complement your interiors.

OUR HISTORY

ILAVIO was founded in Athens, in 1968 by Dimitris Zogopoulos. Initially, it manufactured door hinges and types of hardware for exterior embrasures. Due to the quality and the competitive prices, the company resided in Greece.
The collection of the company extends include parts for indoor doors and a few years later the manufacture of door knobs flourishes as well. At the same time the company (were the first to launch) launched the manufacture and production of decorative material such as:
_ Door handles
_ Pull doors and door knobs
_ Furniture knobs
_ Furniture handles
In the mid 1980’s, ILAVIO enriches its production with fireplace accessories. The company moves to the privately owned installation in Koropi.
In continuance to the increasing production of the previous decades, the company goes a step further manufacturing high quality curtain rod accessories and always enlarging its collection according to the new trends. During this period, the company extends its installations to 9000 m2, as it stands today, and begins exporting to the Middle East.
In 2013, the company the next phase. The succeeding generation, educated and full of vigor and desire, came to contribute novel dynamics (new potential) to the company. Always having the same aim –the production of top quality products which retain their unique (charm) appeal through time- the company updates its mechanical equipment in order to provide high quality products. Besides our motto is “design made to last”. The last few years, a new department commenced specializing in the production of special structures.
The next step of robotization. Robots are poised to streamline tasks, optimize efficiency, and elevate productivity to unprecedented levels.

FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT

ILAVIO is operating in a privately owned facility 9.000 m2 and employs a staff of 90 people. In 2012 the company reengineered its entire production line and created new management and operational model. In 2018 started the implementation of robotic technology to streamline and enhance various processes within the organization.

٠ 2 pressed forge stamping 600 ton & 200 ton

٠ 6 automatic machines for polishing and satin finishing

٠ Robotic plating line department with high tech biological purification

٠ Electrostatic coating with integrated robots

٠ 4 high technology robotic cells for grinding and polishing

٠ Fiber laser Cutting Machine
